May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

Family

So, I started to keep a journal over Appalachia and I found it really calming and helpful, but I haven't kept up since being back really - so hopefully this can take its place!

And I can keep the family updated...

I miss my family. A lot. I wish I could be home for Dave's senior year - I feel like I am missing so much and I really wanted to see him play in the MAIT. He needs to apply to ND - I would absolutely LOVE to have him here.

I miss my dad. Our adventures. Our roadtrips. Our laughing fits. His hugs. Whenever someone calls me KJ I think of him.

I miss my mom. The person that knows me best. My comfort. My support.

I feel so old these days...I've learned to REALLY appreciate my family.
